LED Indicator Descriptions AI-Fi Lights
Overview
All AI-Fi Lights have a LED indicator that utilizes red/green/blue to indicate several states. Below you will find a description of each LED indicator state.
Blinking Blue/Green (alternating)
The device is not configured. The light will be in this state when it is new or after a factory reset. It will be hosting an access point.
Pulsing Teal (Blue & Green at the same time)
The device is booting up. A device takes about 1 minute to boot up.
Pulsing Green
A parent attempting to connect to a home network.
Pulsing Blue
A child attempting to connect to a network. The child may be connecting to your home network or the parent light's network. It depends on your setup and what is available.
Blinking Green
Parent with a schedule, hosting an access point. The device is not connected to your home network. (Local Control)
Blinking Blue
Child light that has failed to connect to a network. It will be hosting an access point. (Local Control)
Blinking Red
Light requires a reset.
Blinking Red/Green/Blue (alternating)
The light is updating its firmware.
Solid Teal (Blue & Green at the same time)
A parent who is attempting to configure children.
Solid Green
A potential parent that is successfully connected to your home network. (Cloud control)
Solid Blue
A child successfully connected to your home network. (Cloud control)
Solid Red
Thermal cool-down. The light has surpassed the optimal running temperature. The main LEDs will remain off until the temperature reduces. (unplug the light from power for 30 seconds, re-connect to power and note if the fan begins spinning)
