Mobius Abnormal Speed
If you are getting an "Abnormal Error" in Mobius we would recommend trying the steps below to resolve the issue.
We would first recommend trying a factory reset by using the steps below:
- Open the Mobius app, go to settings by select the (...) on the top right corner
- Select Devices, then select the Nero.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "Remove From Tank"
- Force close all apps including Mobius
- Unplug the Nero controller from power for 30 seconds
- With power still disconnected, press and hold the controller button
- Reconnect power, continue holding the controller button
- Release the button as soon as indicator begins flashing green
- You can now add the device back into Mobius
If the reset did not resolve the issue please use the steps below to properly clean the unit.
1. Disconnect the power cable from your Nero controller
2. Disassemble the Nero motor and soak in a 50/50 hot water/vinegar solution for 1 hour
3. Rinse and clean motor components
4. Re-install the Nero motor in your aquarium
5. With power still disconnected, press and hold the controller button.
6. Reconnect power, continue holding the controller button.
7. Release button once indicator begins flashing red.
8. Open the myAI app and locate your Nero
9. Add/Firmware update as directed by myAI
