What do the indicator LED states mean?

All AI-Fi devices have an indicator LED that use red/green/blue to indicate several states:

Blinking Blue/Green (alternating)

The device is not configured. The light will be in this state when it is new or after a factory reset. It will be hosting an access point.

Pulsing Teal (Blue & Green at the same time)

The device is booting up. A device takes about 1 minute to boot up.

Pulsing Green

A parent attempting to connect to home network.

Pulsing Blue

Child attempting to connect to a network. The child may be connecting to your home network or the parent light's network. It depends on your setup and what is available.

Blinking Green

Parent with a schedule, hosting an access point. The device is not connected to your home network. (Local Control)

Blinking Blue

Child light that has failed to connect to a network. It will be hosting an access point. (Local Control)

Blinking Red

Light requires a reset.

1. Unplug the light from power

2. Hold down the reset button while the light is not connected to power

3. Connect the light to power and continue holding the reset button for 3 seconds

4. Allow up to 2 minutes for the light boot up (flashing teal indicates a light is in boot up mode)

Blinking Red/Green/Blue (alternating)

The light is updating its firmware.

Solid Teal (Blue & Green at the same time)

A parent which is attempting to configure children.

Solid Green

A potential parent which is successfully connected to your home network. (Cloud control)

Solid Blue

A child successfully connected to your home network. (Cloud control)

Solid Red

Thermal cool-down. The light has surpassed the optimal running temperature. The main LEDs will remain off until the temperature reduces. (unplug the light from power for 30 seconds, re-connect to power and note if the fan begins spinning)
