Upgrade kits can be purchased directly from AI for $250 per module.  This upgrade will replace all Gen 1 module parts except for the heatsink and plastic molding.  The Cree XP series of LEDs that are used in the Gen 2 Sol modules are 50% brighter than the XR predecessors.  

Customers have the option of ordering either Sol White or Sol Blue LED pucks for the upgrade.

The upgrade can either be done in house by our technicians by sending your light in to us or we can ship you out a kit to do yourself.  If being done yourself, a drill and proper sized drill bit are required and the process takes roughly 4 hours per module.
